This work is a drawing performance that exhibits the potential of a more welcoming attitude towards decay by expediting centuries of its occurrence through rapid destruction and rebuilding of drawings. The intention of the work is to reposition the audience's perspective of a space from a static position remaining at its origin in history to consider the multi-layered identities that can exist when welcoming loss and a continuation of time within a space. Mapping destruction helps to reframe the focus of rebuilding efforts from preserving what remains in good condition to highlighting signs of loss that result in more engaging experiences.
